2009 resolutions
Posted on December 29, 2008 by Tom
I guess this is the time of year to make a list. The funny thing is I do this since I was 18 years old and though most things on the list never get done (I still can’t speak Spanish or haven’t run a marathon yet…), it’s great to reread what you wrote a year ago and see what you can scratch of your list. So this time… I’m going public… it’s the ’social media’-thing to do these days.
· Setting up a new blog about customer relations. Had enough ‘close encounters’ at Kursaal Oostende to ’share’.
· Finish the rock + roll marketing presentation together with @shakalakapeter.
· Try to spend a little more time on Twitter and a little less on Facebook.
· Take the time to figure out how I can use Friendfeed and SocialMedian.
· Organize a great new seminar in 2010. Preparations should start early 2009 if we want to make it.
· Create a strategy for Kursaal Seminars. I never thought I would like the seminars we organize at Kursaal Oostende, but they’re great fun.
· Redesigning our company website. I’ve been neglecting that one too.
· I always wanted to read the Bible and the Qur’an, it’s on my list since 2001. Maybe I can blog about it :) It’s what the kids do these days.
· Try not to neglect my blog so often. Try not to use Christmas, work,… as an excuse for it. And since I want to start another blog I really should focus on this one.
· Take more time to write comments, guest posts,…
· Use social media for good, not for evil.
· Really, really try to stick with this list so I can scratch of a lot of things December 29th 2009.
So what are your New Year’s resolutions?
